23/07/07 - Royal Mail Postal Strike Update
The Communications and Workers Union has announced more industrial action over the next two weeks that will probably result in significant disruption to all postal services.
Although each postal worker will only be asked to take 2 days of strike action over the next couple of weeks, the CWU is calling out different functions on each day to maximise the impact. The first action is planned to start at 19:00 on Wednesday 25th July and finish at 12 noon on 8th August.
17/07/07 - Mail International Short-Listed For Award
Mail International have been shortlisted in the final three for the "Distribution House of the Year" award, given by the DPA (Data Publishers Association). Sixteen judges selected from across the industry carefully considered all entries across 14 categories before making their final selection of shortlisted companies.
Gavin Boyd, Managing Director, said that he was delighted that Mail International has been selected for this final stage and that it is a just reward for the high quality initiatives and procedures that the company has introduced over the last year.
The announcement of the overall winner will be made at the DPA Awards ceremony in September.
05/07/07 - Royal Mail Strike
A further 24 hour Royal Mail Strike has been announced for Friday 13th July. The strike will take effect from 19:00 on Thursday 12th July.
