21/01/07 - Lee Fitzgerald
Lee Fitzgerald, the Chairman and founder of Mail International, tragically died in Tenerife in January 2007, accidentally losing his footing and falling down a cliff. Lee had moved to Tenerife on a permanent basis only 3 months earlier and was relaxing and enjoying his new life in the sun, which makes the news even more tragic.
Lee was the inspiration and driving force behind the founding of and the growth of Mail International, and he will be sorely missed by all of the staff here. Our condolences go out to his 2 children and his family.
