Reporting to: Production Team Leader

Both full and part-time positions are available
Salary: £11.50 per hour (discretionary company bonus scheme is in place).
A well-established, leading UK mailing company currently have an exciting opportunity for a Production Assistant to join their team based in Burgess Hill, West Sussex.
Nature of the Production Assistant position:
- To work in the various areas of our production department
- To assist in the production, fulfilment and distribution of mail
- To learn and implement numerous production processes (all training provided)
- To ensure all job instructions are adhered to and paperwork is completed accordingly
- To actively contribute to all aspects of our busy production department

Salary: c. £tbc – dependent upon experience. Salary comprised of a basic salary with the potential of ad-hoc bonuses. Salary is based upon a Mon-Fri 5-day, 40 hour working week.
Overview:
Mail International Ltd, a well established, leading mailing company who have been delivering high quality, customer focused services since 1985, have an opportunity to join our expanding Client Services Team. The role is available with immediate effect and is based at our Burgess Hill facilities, approximately 10-15 minutes walk from Burgess Hill train station. All applicants must be resident in the UK and hold the right to work here.
Main tasks and responsibilities of the position:
• To build relationships with our customers, interacting directly with them via various communication channels on a regular basis. This will include hosting online meetings via Microsoft Teams as well as daily e-mail/phone contact.
• To manage client jobs including producing paperwork and any other required admin related to those jobs. This will include the production of various documentation and the use of a number of online portals on a daily basis.
• To liaise internally with our production, data, print and warehouse teams to ensure jobs are scheduled, processed and invoiced both accurately and to schedule.
• To work on commercial aspects related to client jobs including supplying pricing to clients and producing invoicing paperwork for our accounts team to process.
• To identify opportunities to increase client sales and to work with the client services team, alongside any other internal team, to manage that process
• To utilise a range of software applications, including spreadsheets, to carry out the role in an effective and efficient manner. Therefore, a good command of Microsoft Excel is a requirement of the role.
• To work in a pro-active and positive manner and to recognize that working as part of a team(s) is a fundamental aspect of the role.
• To be flexible in how you carry out your work and in how you work with other members of the company.
We are looking for someone who is/has :
• Knowledge, or previous experience, of mailing/distribution/fulfilment services would be beneficial but is not required.

The role is available with immediate effect and is based at our Burgess Hill facilities, approximately 10-15 minutes walk from Burgess Hill train station.
Overview:
This role predominantly involves working within our data and print team to receive and process mailing data and, where needed, to set-up and combine that data with artwork for our production team to takeover and print/finish.
The role has been designed to support the varied data and print requirements our customers have and to enable Mail International Ltd to continue to keep offering the high quality, customer focused services we are known for. Applicants will therefore need to be able to demonstrate an ability to meet the below requirements as well as having a good general understanding of computer systems given the range of specialist software we utilise.
This is a fast-paced environment where attention to detail, communication skills and ability to work under pressure will be required. There will be opportunities for personal and professional development for candidates who are self driven and with the right attitude and aptitude to learn.
Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
• To securely receive data and artwork from customers and to prepare and schedule jobs for data processing in-line with existing processes and expectations
• To manipulate, process and sort address data for mail merging, print and fulfilment purposes.
• To carry out any data cleaning tasks, provide reporting and work with our client services team to provide information back to clients
• To set-up data and artwork for printing by our production team and to liaise internally to ensure expectations are met
• To utilise a range of both general and specialist applications including both data processing and print management software (training will be provided).
• To regularly perform quality checks and ensure the integrity of any work undertaken is in line with that required by Mail International Ltd
• To monitor the team mailbox alongside the other team members and to respond to internal email enquiries in a timely manner
• To participate in meetings and update team colleagues when required to ensure an effective and efficient working environment
• To work with third-party suppliers when required
• To adhere to customer guidelines and any specific job instructions that may be required including adhering to any data protection/processing agreement(s) that may be in place.
We are looking for someone who is/has :
• An in-depth knowledge of and significant experience using Microsoft Excel and related formula’s, pivot tables, and mail merging. Macro writing and VBA skills are not required but may be advantageous
• Knowledge, or previous experience, of using mailing or print software is not required but would be beneficial

Overview:
The IT Support & Development Assistant supports internal users and systems /infrastructure including: applications, server, network, storage, backup, data. The position also includes playing a key role in the company’s software and hardware development activities and assisting the Data & Information Systems team in their daily tasks including data processing for mailing campaigns. This is a fantastic opportunity for a technically minded professional who is self driven and wants to improve, develop and learn new skills within a dynamic, growing business.
Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
• Be a front-line contact for internal support, working with end-users to diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues. Maintain the logging of incidents, requests and problems.
• Administer, maintain and troubleshoot back-office based applications and systems aiming for optimum system performance while keeping an eye for continuous improvement.
• Communicate effectively with our suppliers with regards to the setup and testing of Postal/Courier Service Integrations.
• Provide project-based support when required, helping to ensure successful implementation of new software and hardware.
• To maintain working relationships with other departments within the Company and ensure that the IT systems are aligned to the company’s ISO 27001 Framework.
• Ensure the continued day-to-day security of all IT systems and related data; ensure all systems are patched and up to date to provide the best possible defense against advanced persistent threats and malware.
• Perform data processing tasks using Microsoft Excel and other specialist software (training will be provided).

• Knowledge of Windows Server, Network Infrastructure and Group Policy administration would be an added advantage but not mandatory.
• Willingness to attend formal training including off-site courses.
