We are very pleased to announce that on August 16th 2017, Mail International successfully passed the international standard for Information Security – ISO 27001. This globally recognised standard is audited independently and attaining it was the result of much planning and implementation. The standard required us to demonstrate that we have the structure, policies and management systems in place to a provide a safe and secure environment for handling and managing data/information.
In accordance with the standard, we will be audited every 12 months to ensure compliance and that a policy of continual improvement is in place. In this regard, we will be contacting all of our clients in due to course to offer advice and to run through the options available when sending/receiving information to/from us.
This new ISO 27001 accreditation joins our existing ISO 14001 accreditation (environmental standards and policies) which we attained in 2010.
